The Role

As a full-time Account Manager, you are the client lead in day-to-day operations at AndHumanity. You’ll manage client relationships, support business growth, and oversee projects from start to finish. To clients, you are the go-to partner at AndHumanity and for inclusive marketing and communications. To internal teams, you are the client expert and project manager. In this role, you will balance and prioritize the needs and expectations of the client, team, and inclusive processes. This role reports directly to the Group Account Director.

While we have flex hours throughout the week, individuals must be available during core business hours on Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 3pm PST. We are off on Fridays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Uphold business values and integrity of inclusive principles and processes.
  • Build and manage client accounts.
  • Proactively identify and develop opportunities to grow client accounts.
  • Educate and coach clients on inclusive principles and processes.
  • Implement project plans and ensure projects meet quality, scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal strategy and creative teams to support accounts and projects.
  • Understand the fundamentals of the clients business to support organizational goals, measurements and or priorities.
  • Maintain up-to-date on current trends for client industries to anticipate potential opportunities.
  • Support internal projects focused on business growth and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Group Account Director on overall account health and growth strategies.
  • Ensure relevant software and project management tools are kept up-to-date on a daily basis.

Important to the role:

  • A human approach to accessibility and inclusive considerations.
  • Willing to unlearn more traditional agency client and team management to relearn a more inclusive direction.
  • Proven experience in account management and or project management roles.
  • Strong project management skills and comfortable managing all project components.
  • Experience in marketing and communications and or working in an agency type setting.
  • Empathetic approach to communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Self-motivated and solutions oriented, with experience consistently building and growing accounts and completing projects.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant software and project management tools (Teamwork, Google Suites, and Slack)

Additional details:

  • The AndHumanity team is remote-based and operates in the Pacific Timezone (PST).
  • This is a full-time employee role for 32 hours per week at approximately $60,000-$70,000.
  • Expected start date is in early August.
