Coast Capital

Building authentic engagement through inclusive storytelling and strategy

We helped develop and implement creative communications strategy with a focus on dates of significance throughout the year.

ID: The image features a dynamic and layered design with bold text overlays celebrating “New Lunar Year, “Black History Month” and “International Women’s Day.” The text is arranged in a visually striking manner, with varying font sizes and orientations. The background transitions through shades of blue and white, creating a gradient effect that enhances the vibrancy of the text.

The Project

Developed and implemented creative communications strategy with a focus on dates of significance throughout the year. Beyond deliverables solely focused on social media and newsletter content creation, this project also involved consulting and employee engagement.

Our unique approach

We consulted and engaged in creative ideation and implementation with Coast Capital around Dates of Significance, including Black History Month, Lunar New Year, and Pride. First, we developed a consultative strategic approach to engaging authentically, including demonstrating authentic commitment, involving lived experience, acknowledging intersectionality/avoiding tokenization, and going beyond as singular date. We shared a suggested content approach to demonstrate these principles and collaborated with their creative team to develop these ideas.

Coast Capital moved forward with these creative ideas, and we supported them to create content, including internal communications and external social media posts. We also supported their team to grow inclusively through open discussion sessions where we provided consultative advice and answered questions about inclusive marketing and communications topics specific to their work and team.

“Add a quote here from the client if one exists. If there isn’t, we can maybe try getting one from the internal team who was involved in the project who wants to celebrate a success, avoiding only celebrating the client.”
